I am an Occupational Therapist who sees a child with muscular dystrophy and uses a power wheelchair. He needs a full lap tray and needs it flip up and out of the way so he can transfer out of the chair for personal care needs. He is to weak to remove and put on a full lap tray by himself and wants to be independent. I have searched all over and have only seen half-lap-trays but not one that is a full tray which flips up. You have good designs but not enough function for transfers, even for low level quads who can transfer. Please design a flip-up and out-of-the-way lap tray for these populations. I am working on such a design myself, but I don't have an engineering degree and or knowledge of specific code requirements. Thanks.
